She banged on the cockpit door and demanded to be allowed off the plane during her almost 25-minute period of disruptive behaviour.

One passenger reported that a worker covered the woman with a blanket after the flight returned to the gate at Houston’s Hobby Airport, but she took it off and according to authorities, she was taken into custody and then to the NeuroPsychiatric Centre at the Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital in Houston for a medical assessment with it apparent that she was having a mental breakdown.

They said the offender was not being charged because of her overbearing conduct which is why she wasn’t being named as well.

On Thursday, Southwest Airlines said that the Flight 733 had returned to the gate because of a “Customer situation onboard.”

Macy Estevez, a fellow traveller, claims that the woman paraded for about 30 minutes until the police took her into custody. The Houston Police Department removed the woman to conduct her medical evaluations.

Southwest Airlines apologized to passengers for the flight delays and released a statement regarding the situation.

“Local law enforcement met Flight 733 from Houston to Phoenix Monday afternoon after it returned to the gate because of a customer situation onboard,” read the statement.

According to reports, the woman even claimed to be bipolar and was requesting to be removed from the aircraft and before being arrested by the authorities, the woman also attempted to access the cockpit, according to the passengers.

“She turned around facing us and stripped all of her clothes off,” a traveler said.

Before sprinting down the aisle, the woman could be seen in one of the videos yelling, “wait, wait, wait.”

“And she then proceeded to make her way back towards the front of the plane and started banging on the cockpit doors, asking to be let in and she was screaming. When it first happened, it was really scary,” said the passenger.
