On February 23, 2025, American podcaster and internet personality DJ Akademiks shared a video of K Money on X. The video showcased the rapper allegedly getting attacked by a member of rapper Top5’s gang at the Raptors arena. The short clip quickly went viral with and had the caption:

The video seemingly gained traction and quickly racked up over 32K views and 350 likes in just a short while. Following the fight video, DJ Akademiks also posted another clip showing K Money being escorted in a wheelchair to the medical bay inside the stadium. He posted the video with the caption, read:

K Money, real name Kareemallah Muhammad, is a Canadian Muslim rapper who was born on September 15, 1999, in Toronto, Canada. As of 2025, K Money is currently 25 years old. He is the younger brother of fellow rapper Casper TNG. The Toronto-based rapper initially gained recognition for hit tracks like “Come Outside” and “BANG BANG”. His music career seemingly took off in 2017, after “Come Outside” amassed over 16 million streams on Spotify. Back in January 2023, Money released his popular single titled “No Id”.

K Money and Top5 (real name Hassan Ali) are known rivals in the Toronto rap scene. According to reports, the recent attack at the Raptors arena is linked to their ongoing feud. Top5 made headlines back in September 2024 after getting released from custody in connection with a murder case.
Top5 was reportedly charged with first-degree murder in the 2021 shooting of a 20-year-old accounting student named Hashim Omar Hashi. Authorities took him into custody shortly after the incident but eventually released him on September 23, 2024. The Ontario Superior Court of Justice reportedly stayed the charge against him.
