Who is Lex Paeshuyse?
Born on September 6, 2011, Belgian darts players Lex Paeshuyse has already made a name for himself in youth darts. He debuted in 2022, quickly achieving remarkable results, including numerous titles and victories against top players.
A year after, he reached the final of the Belgium Open youth event and clinched the boys’ singles title at the Four Nations Cup 2023, representing Belgium.
Paeshuyse’s success continued in 2024 as well, with a standout performance at the World Masters, where he dominated the youth category.

His impressive average exceeds 90 points in two knockout matches, which culminated in a commanding victory over “Mason Teese” in the final. On the same day, he qualified for the WDF World Darts Championship 2024 boys’ division.
In his debut at the WDF World Darts Championship 2024, Paeshuyse showcased his exceptional talent, achieving the tournament’s fourth-highest average of 92.81 in a two-set quarter-final match against “Ralfs Laumanis.”
Lex Paeshuyse’s Mother
Earlier, Lex’s mother, Inez, had a brief conversation with a media outlet, wherein she shared their rollercoaster experience due to her son’s impressive performances.
In her statement, she can be heard saying, “The start was rough, with equipment changes and some tough opponents. After the group stage, we thought, ‘How will he manage this?’ But then, he kept surprising us.”
In addition to the JDC final, Paeshuyse will also compete in the World Youth Championship, a tournament won by Littler in 2023.
The Rijkevorsel youngster started playing darts during lockdown when his parents bought him a dartboard, and he competed in his first youth tournament in December 2022 and Paeshuyse has already won several tournaments in Belgium and reached the final of the WDF-ranked Belgium Open and Antwerp Open youth events.
In 2024, he won the boys’ title at the WDF World Masters and won through the qualifiers to earn a spot in the WDF Boys’ World Championship at the end of the year.
Paeshuyse is coached by Benny de Laet who had earlier said: “As his coach, I dare to say that Lex is a potential asset to the international top level in the darts world. We see him grow again and again every week, but he is aware that the road the highest level will also be a learning experience.
