New York Knick forward guard OG Anunoby, whose real name is Ogugua “OG” Anunoby Jr. was born in London on July 17, 1997, to Nigerian parents. When Anunoby was 4 years old, his family moved to the U.S.
He grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri, where his father was a professor. Anunoby initially played football but switched to basketball at a young age due to his height that is 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m).
Career
Later, he went to Indiana University, where he made a significant impact as a freshman. As a freshman at the Indiana University, OG Anunoby appeared in a total of 34 games. Due to his impressive performance, he was selected as a Pre-season All-American.
Despite an injury in 2017, he declared for the NBA draft and has since become one of the NBA’s premier defenders. So far, he has represented various teams such as Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks.

A funny story from 2018, shared by former teammate CJ Miles, sheds light on Anunoby’s character. On a late-night return from an away game, Anunoby asked Miles how he was getting home, to which Miles replied that his wife was picking him up.
Anunoby, surprised, quipped, “Your wife’s picking you up? I should get a wife,” before laughing and announcing, “I’m getting married in three weeks!”
Despite the humor, Anunoby is still yet to find his significant other. As of now, there’s no public information about his dating life but he is believed to be single and unmarried.
While rumors surfaced in 2022 about a relationship with an unknown woman named Klara Szabo, who some basketball enthusiasts speculated to be an engineer, Anunoby has neither confirmed nor commented on these speculations.
