Family members of the 25-year-old Air India pilot found dead at her Mumbai home have alleged that her boyfriend, who has been arrested for abetment to suicide, would humiliate her publicly, harass her mentally and extort money from her after Srishti Tuli was found dead at her rented home in Mumbai’s Marol area on Monday. She used a data cable to hang herself after an argument with her boyfriend Aditya Pandit (27) over the phone who has told police that he rushed to her flat to find the door locked with her declared dead at the Seven Hills Hospital.
Aditya Pandit who is a Brahmin Hindu lives in Faridabad near Delhi. Srishti met Aditya during her training for commercial flying in Delhi and while she completed the course, Aditya dropped out. Srishti moved to Mumbai last year after getting her flying license.
Srishti Tuli allegedly committed suicide in Mumbai on Monday and her boyfriend Aditya Pandit, 27, was taken into custody by Mumbai’s Powai Police on Tuesday on suspicion of aiding the suicide of his girlfriend, Srishti Tuli, a 25-year-old Air India pilot. She was the first woman pilot from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Pandit visited Tuli and stayed at her apartment for a week leading up to her suicide.
She was discovered dead in her Marol apartment on Monday. The accused allegedly taunted and harassed her, which ultimately resulted in her untimely death, according to the police, who also disclosed that the pair frequently clashed.

According to the Gorakhpur woman’s family, the accused killed her and tried to make it look like a suicide. They said he made fun of her in public and forbade her from eating anything that wasn’t vegetarian.
The Mumbai Police have been urged by the family to look into the incident in great detail. According to the authorities, Aditya Pandit and Srishti Tuli moved in together in Mumbai shortly after they met two years ago when she travelled to Delhi for training. Later on, meanwhile, the victim’s relatives learned that the accused often tormented and insulted her, even taking money out of her bank account.

When Aditya arrived at her residence, she discovered that the door was locked and that no one was answering. With the assistance of a key maker, Aditya was able to break the lock and found her unconscious. After that, he hurried Srishti to a hospital, where they pronounced her dead.
