Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shweta Khedkar, the inquiry turned up comprehensive evidence that connected Uikey to the emails.
“Uikey is currently on the run after these emails were traced back to him,” the senior police official said.
“A special team has been formed to arrest Uikey,” he said, adding that he will be apprehended him soon.
Uikey sent emails to government bodies, including the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Railway Minister, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy, airline offices, the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the official said.
35-year-old Jagdish from Gondia in Maharashtra who is currently on the run had written a book on terrorism and claims to have deciphered a secret terror code (25-MBA-5-MTR) that foretells 30 explosions on trains and railway premises.

According to the official, Jagdish Uikey emailed the Director General of Police (DGP), the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Railway Minister, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy, airline offices, and other government agencies.
The Nagpur police increased security outside the home of Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis earlier on Monday after Jagdish Uikey threatened to demonstrate if he wasn’t given the opportunity to provide his information on the secret terror code he said he had cracked in an email.
He revealed that he wanted to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk about his understanding of the threat posed by terrorism.
According to officials, increased security at train stops resulted from Uikey’s email, which was submitted to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on October 21 and then shared to the DGP and RPF.
According to government agencies, Indian airlines reported more than 300 hoaxed bomb threats between October 13 and October 26, the majority of which were posted on social media. About 50 planes, including 13 from IndiGo and Air India, got bomb threats on October 22 alone.
