He mainly plays as a defensive midfielder for Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and also the Germany national team. Angelo Stiller started out playing for TSV Milbertshofen in north Munich before Bayern scouts spotted him and signed him in 2010 at the age of nine. He eventually raced through the different youth age groups at Säbener Strasse before serving as the captain of the U17s. During his time as captain, he led the side to Bundesliga South/South-West glory in 2018 at the age of 16.
Following his achievements, he was promoted to the U19s team two years ahead of the curve. Even at that level, Stiller continued to impress as he scored four goals and eight assists across 35 appearances. He also scored a goal and bagged eight assists in 15 matches for Bayern’s UEFA Youth League team.
