Renowned preacher Br T K George of the Yesu Sparsha team passed away in the Bengaluru hospital St John’s Medical College on Monday, October 14.

Br T K George was born on on September 8, 1955, in Hubballi to late T K Varghese and Baby Mary. His stepmother Tresiamma raised him after he lost his mother when he was three years old. He later on moved to Bhadravati. He had five siblings namely Bro. T. K. George (Preacher), Mrs. Rosy Dโ€™Souza, Mr. T.V. Saviour, Mr. T. V. Davis (Preacher), and Mr. T. V. Joseph.

Br TK attended a local school in his hometown. Br T K George a well-known preacher from the Yesu Sparsha team, passed away on October 14 at the age of 69.

Br T K George career

Having acted in multiple popular Kannada films, Br T K George rose to fame in Sandalwood following his education. He struggled for a while with depression as a result of the unpleasant turns his personal life took.

On May 8, 1990, Br George, who had lost all interest in life travelled to the Divine Retreat Centre in Potta, Kerala, for a retreat. That marked a change in his life. He devoted himself to teaching God’s Word starting that day. He had preached retreats in twenty-five different nations. He was renowned for using his trademark funny anecdotes and words to preach the Bible, drawing audiences in for extended periods of time.

Br George has produced a number of spiritual CDs and MP3s in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, among other languages. In addition, he had written spiritual books in several languages and made spiritual DVDs.

Rome, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scotland, England, Spain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharja, Norway, Portugal, Bahrain, Singapore, and numerous Indian states are among the places he visited.
