Ashneer Grover will be appearing with the rest of the Shark Tank India judges on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show
Although its regressed massively, hardly provided a chuckle here or there, The Kapil Sharma Show has continued to remain on air on Sony TV. And the channel has on a slew of occasions decided to utilise the comedy show to promote other shows on its channel with Shark Tank India set to get a platform in the coming weekend.
A new promo for The Kapil Sharma Show has dropped, one which features the judges of Shark Tank India appearing on the show. The show which has BharatPe co-founder and managing director Ashneer Grover, boAt co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal as the sharks will see them come on the comedy show in the ensuing episode.
Ashneer Grover Mocks Kapil Sharma On His Sony TV Show
Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alagh, SUGAR cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh and Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar are amongst the other sharks.
The promo showed Kapil Sharma cracking a sad joke about the sharks having a combined net worth of ₹1,07,625 crore and how the country’s GDP would crash if they were kidnapped. However, what has gone viral is a video of Ashneer Grover mocking Kapil as he spoke about the comedian welcoming his daughter Anayra before the first COVID-19 wave and son Trishaan after the second one.
“Aapki jo shirt mein yeh off ka button hai, yeh biwi ne lagaya hai ya nasbandi kendra walon ne (Has this ‘off’ button on your shirt been put there by your wife Ginni Chatrath or a vasectomy centre)?” the BharatPe Founder is heard saying in the clip.
He also was heard saying as Kapil Sharma quizzed Peyush Bansal about hiring Katrina Kaif for Lenskart’s promotion, “Inka chashma pehenke Katrina ko bhi clarity aa gayi ki Vicky hi chahiye (After wearing his glasses, Katrina got clarity that she wants Vicky only).”
Maybe Ashneer can opt for a career change and switch to comedy. A good laugh is one thing which he definitely needs with his bemusing mannerisms and innate hate for everything seeing him take a leave of absence till March 31 from BharatPe after an audio clip went viral of him abusing a Kotak Mahindra Bank Employee.
