Have a look at the alleged owner of the NET88 betting company as it becomes the new sponsor of Crystal Palace
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace are under heat after signing a sponsor deal with gambling firms DEBET and Net88!
Have you heard of the sportsbooks “DEBET” and “Net88”? If not, fret not, because most people haven’t, which is why questions are being raised about two Premier League clubs partnering with them.
Who is the owner and CEO of NET88 Vietnamese betting company as it becomes new Crystal Palace sponsor for 2024-2025 season
Les presento la historia de NET88, la “compañía” de apuestas de Vietnam que es sponsor principal de la camiseta del Crystal Palace, firmado ayer.

For the unfamiliar, recently, established mid-table Premier League teams Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace announced new sponsorship deals.
Now, Wolverhampton Wanderers will feature DEBET as their front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2024/25 season, while Crystal Palace has inked a deal with Net88.
About DEBET & Net88
The two Premier League teams are facing a backlash as the Issue is that both sportsbooks appear to be illegal Vietnamese entities.
They have an almost non-existent online presence and might even be owned by the same individuals. The English language accounts for DEBET and Net88 have less than 250 followers combined.
Football author Martin Calladine discovered that the trademarks for DEBET and Net88 were filed on the same day, March 13, suggesting they might be part of the same illegal betting operation.
Calladine also revealed that Net88, Palace’s new sponsor, lists a fake CEO using the identity of a deceased TikToker and offers betting odds on cockfighting.
The reason I ask is because there is one Net88 website that claims a 24yo women called Minh Chau is the founder of what it describes as “Asia’s No. 1 bookmaker.” I cannot immediately find any online confirmation of this. Presumably Palace met her when they signed the deal? pic.twitter.com/EZsfhAqSOQ

Premier League side Crystal Palace announced that Net88 has become its principal club partner in what has been described as a record deal and the two-year deal will commence for the upcoming 2024/25 season and will see the online gaming platform feature as Palace’s men’s official front-of-shirt sponsor.

What Did Martin Calladine Reveal?
The applications for the Debet and Net88 trademarks were filed on the same day – 13 March 2024. If Debet and Net88 are not closely connected Asian-facing bookmakers, it is an extraordinary coincidence. pic.twitter.com/Dw3QeDz00Y

“Previous illegal betting firms have been caught using made-up staff, and Wolves’ partner used a freelance British PR consultant to give a quote. In contrast, NET88 appears to have no named employees,” Calladine tweeted in an extensive thread.

“These are not legitimate companies. Their services are illegal by definition and often connected to organized crime and severe human rights abuses.
“These firms pirate sports broadcasts and use overtly s*xual imagery to advertise, as Norwich discovered a few years ago and Palace is now experiencing,” Calladine explained.
Did Crystal Palace Really Signed Deal with Net88?
For the unversed, Palace earlier, on Wednesday announced a two-year contract with the Vietnamese company and even their logo also appeared on Palace’s kit for the 2024-25 season along with on their training attire.
Welcome to Palace, @net88eng ❤️💙

Given the numerous charges against Manchester City related to financial fair play, misreported revenues, and questionable sponsorship deals, it’s shocking that the Premier League would allow these partnerships if the accusations against DEBET and Net88 are true.
