The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021 Grand Finals came to a close after a stressful and nerve-wracking final day, know who was the winner and prize money pool
With 273 points and 109 finishes, Skylightz Gaming came out on top of the BGIS 2021 Grand Finals. The squad held their nerve in the final stages of the game to win the title and a cash award of Rs. 50 lakhs.
Skylightz Gaming has qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC 2021) Grand Finals, which will be held later this month, as winners of the BGIS 2021. (21-23 January). In the $6 million worldwide event, the team will be the only Indian representative.
With 270 points and 107 frags, Team Solo Mid (TSM) took second place.
BGIS 2021 Grand Finals Overall Standings, Results, MVP And Points Table
Team XO took third place after leading the points table at the end of Day 3 but faltering today and slipping to the last podium spot. The team finished with 244 points and 106 finishes, earning a monetary award of ten lakhs rupees.
GodLike Esports, the pre-event favourites, finished fourth. The team got off to a good start in the event, establishing an early lead on Day 1, but couldn’t maintain it on Days 2 and 3. On the final day, they gave it their all but were unable to place on the podium.
Among the other top teams, 7Sea Esports, a team known for their aggressive approach, had a solid final day and finished in fifth place.
GodLike’s Neyoo was named MVP of the tournament and received a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh for his outstanding all-around performance.
BGIS 2021 Grand Finals Winner Prize Money Pool Distribution And Awards
The tournament offered a huge prize pool of 1 crore INR, with Skylightz Gaming taking home 50 lakhs INR as the winners. TSM and Team XO, the first and second runners-up, received 25 lakhs and 10 lakhs INR, respectively.
GodLike Neyoo was selected MVP of the competition and received a prize of 1 lakh INR.
