Jamie Maclaren is an Australian professional soccer player who was born on July 29, 1993 in Sunbury, Australia. He was born to Don Maclaren and has a brother named Donald Maclaren. He mainly plays as a striker and last played for A-League club Melbourne City, and captained the side as well.

Career and stats
Jamie Maclaren started off his football journey with Australian side Green Gully SC where he generally competed against older players. He then went on to join English side Blackburn Rovers in 2009 and earned his first contract after he scored an amazing hat-trick against Manchester United. After his time in England, he returned to Australia and joined Perth Glory on a three-year contract.
During his time at Perth, he recorded his best numbers during the 2014-15 season when he scored 10 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions. Jamie then joined Brisbane Roar on a two-year deal, and scored 18 goals during his first A-League season. Maclaren went on to win the A-League Golden Boot the following season with 19 goals.
He then briefly moved to Germany, joining Bundesliga 2 club Darmstadt 98 before going out on loan to Scottish side Hibernian. During his loan spell in Scotland, the forward scored a hat-trick against Scottish giants Rangers FC. Jamie Maclaren returned to Australia in 2019, joining Melbourne City FC and he won the Golden Boot in his first season with 22 goals.
