The man who passed away in a Phoenix crash last week has been sadly indentified as one of the sons of the legendary sports television personality Betsy Mungovan.
Maxwell Murray, well known as “Max,” sadly passed away from his injuries received after his race car crashed into a curb and overturned on Seventh Street. The fatal accident occured this month on April 9th.

Meanwhile, Leslie Williams started a GoFundMe account named “Max Murray Legacy Fund,” which successfully raised $50,000 on Saturday. The initial lines of the page read:
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 9th, the family of Maxwell Murray’s world was devastatingly altered forever as Max tragically succumbed to injuries sustained during a car accident in Phoenix, Arizona.”
According to the initial investigation into the crash done by Phoenix Police Department officers, Max was driving north on Seventh Street when he smacked the curb and rolled over.
Who was Max Murray?
Max Murray was a well-known cinematographer who worked in a variety of roles on large networks.
He was one of the sons of Sports TV’s renowned Betsy Mungovan, in addition to Mike. The siblings were first introduced to the NBC Sports family when they were younger, and they went with Betsy.
Throughout his career, Max has occupied a variety of significant roles, including those in operations and manufacturing. Before he joined PGA Tour, he earlier worked for CBS and NBC Sports for more than ten years.
Apart from is professional life, he lived beside his kids. He raised two little children named Grace who is just four and Ronan who is just two years old.
