Who was Arulmani?
Arulmani was a well-known Indian actor and politician. He has been in the news because, at the age of 65, he took his last breath recently after experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
He was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu. Though his interests were more in politics than in movies, he had made a name for himself in both fields. In the Tamil film industry, he was well-known for his roles in Tamil movies like “Singam,” “Lingaa,” “Thandavakone,” and “Dharma Seelan.”
However, soon, Arulmani stepped away from the movie business in order to commit to politics completely. For the last 10 years, he has been associated with the AIADMK political party loyally.
In anticipation of the approaching Lok Sabha elections, he undertook a long campaign trip throughout Tamil Nadu. He had been traveling all over the state for the last ten days, trying to get people to support the party.
However, on 11th April, he passed away in Chennai’s hospital after suffering a major cardiac arrest. He was 65 years old when he died.
