A basketball competition known as the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualification is being held to determine which FIBA Asia-Oceania countries would automatically qualify to compete alongside automatically qualified host Saudi Arabia at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup.

The pre-qualification procedure started in 2022 and is competitive on a sub-zone and regional level. The sixteen teams who have already progressed to the qualifiers will be joined by eighteen teams from the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Additionally, there will be chances to advance to the Qatar 2024 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Since Qatar is hosting the World Cup, they automatically qualify for the competition.

When and where the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers will be held?
The 16-team Asia Cup in Saudi Arabia the following year will have its selection process from February 22 to 26. There will be three windows in total to select the teams that compete in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup: February 2024, November 2024, and February 2025.
