According to Vihari, the reason he was asked to resign was because the player had political ties. Hanuma made his Andhra cricket retirement known on Instagram following the conclusion of the Ranji season. Hanuma Vihari admitted that during the first Ranji match against Bengal, he yelled at the team’s seventeenth player. Later, Hanuma was fired as captain after it was discovered that he was the son of a politician.
