Antonio Brown Was Forced By Bruce Arians And Tampa To Play Despite Ankle Injury
Seen driving around New York City next to driver Danny Boy Hard Hustle as he released his new rap single shortly afterwards, AB found support in a string of his counterparts. And as the story develops, there is more to it than what was just told in the presser by Arians.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has gone onto report that Brown had a completely legitimate reason to deny coming onto the field. Brown who had missed manifold weeks owing to an ankle injury and was limited in practice as well had informed the coaches and Arians about his struggles with his ankle when asked to come on.
However, he was forced by Tampa to enter the game against the Jets with him squabbling with with Bruce Arians and the Bucs’ offensive team over his health and as refused to re-enter the game.
“What he told the staff, from what I understand, is that he was not going into the game because, in his mind, he did not feel he was healthy. The response then from the offensive coaches and from Bruce Arians was, ‘If you are not gonna go into the game when we tell you to go into the game, then you cannot be here.’ At that point, they threw him off the sidelines and then cut him from the team,” Rapport said.
