James Houston has had a fantastic third season with the Detroit Lions thus far, except from a humorous photo claiming he was pooping himself

It was anticipated that the Detroit Lions will overwhelm the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. At least offensively, the Lions have blown the bed thus far during Sunday Night Football as they built up their 23-7 lead at the break and it’s possible that one of their players actually did that.

Vames Houston, a linebacker for the Detroit Lions, looked to have soiled his pants while making a tackle in one of the screenshots from the game with a video of the incident now going viral as well.

Fans on Sunday could not help but notice a very visible stain on one Detroit Lions player’s pants.

If you look closely at the replay of Houston making the tackle on Mixon, you can see a huge yellowish-brown splotch on the back of his pants which fans believe is a sh*t stain.

Fans believe James Houston pooped his pants, which is why he is going viral on Sunday Night Football. In 2022, Houston had seven game appearances and recorded eight sacks to begin his career. He recorded his first sack since the 2022 season on Sunday Night Football. He would need to take a few more sacks in order for the team to rally and help the Lions win this game that everyone thought they would win.

James Houston’s career

American linebacker James Houston IV was born on November 16, 1998, and plays for the National Football League (NFL) Detroit Lions. Houston went to the American Heritage School while growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Rated as a three-star recruit, he turned down offers from Miami, South Carolina, Michigan, and Wisconsin to play collegiate football at Florida. In the end, Houston moved to Jackson State.

James Houston attended Florida during his first year of college. After he and eight other players were suspended for their roles in a credit card fraud scam, he missed his actual freshman season. Houston made 28 tackles as a reserve linebacker in all 13 of the Gators’ games as a redshirt freshman, with two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and one blocked punt.

In his redshirt sophomore season, he recorded 38 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. As a redshirt junior, Houston recorded 37 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, and one forced fumble. He logged into the NCAA transfer site after the season ended.


He was voted first-team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference after recording 70 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and an interception in his lone season with the Tigers.
