Hector Raul Cuper is an Argentine football manager and former player who was born on November 16, 1955, in Chabás, Argentina. Following the death of his mother, Cuper grew up under the care of his grandmother. He is currently working as the head coach of the Syria national team. Prior to working as a manager, Hector was a player who primarily played as a defender, and spent most of his career at Club Ferro Carril Oeste. During his playing days, he was nicknamed “Cabezón”.
