On Saturday morning, January 20, 2024, a Baltimore resident named Antonio Hart admitted to a series of crimes via TikTok Live, a video that has gained significant attention on various social media platforms

In the video, Hart asserted, “Sterling Matthew is doing a life sentence… right now in Cumberland for somebody I killed on Halloween… I had that Glock 17 and that .25 Caliber that night they killed Daquan. I did that sh*t in 2010… Lil Sterling ain’t do that sh*t.”

He further added “I love you Woo Baby but he ain’t do that sh*t. Big Rambo did that sh*t in 2010 and I stepped on him.”

Reportedly, Antonio Hart created the TikTok Live during a standoff with law enforcement, wherein he held hostages and resisted surrendering.

Subsequently, he was discovered deceased by the police. Following the video’s viral spread, public reactions have varied, with some expressing a desire for the release of wrongly convicted Sterling Matthew.

Hart Held 4 People Hostage

On the aforementioned Saturday morning, Baltimore police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting domestic violence at the 4800 block of Grenville Square. Upon arrival, they discovered Antonio Hart, aged 31, holding four people hostage.

Despite refusing to cooperate and being armed, after extended negotiations, Hart released three hostages unharmed. The fourth individual managed to escape independently but suffered severe injuries and was promptly taken to the local hospital, as reported by media.

Despite multiple attempts to secure Hart’s surrender, the tactical and crisis negotiation team breached the house after hours, finding Antonio Hart deceased.

Hart Confessed to Crimes

His TikTok Live confession implicated him in the 2010 Halloween murder of Daquan, for which Sterling Matthew is currently serving a life sentence in Cumberland. Hart also confessed to another 2011 murder and three additional shootings around the same time.

In the video’s closing moments, Hart displayed a chest wound while emotionally breaking down on camera. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently undisclosed and under investigation, along with the statements made in the video. Autopsy reports are pending.
