Ryan Rollins accused of shoplifting
According to official documents, Rollins is accused of stealing petty household items, including groceries, body wash, and candles. The documents also mentioned felonies and other details. According to the police, Ryan Rollins committed the shoplifting on seven different occasions, starting from September 9 up until November 9. Ryan was reportedly a member of the Wizards when the incident took place. According to the law code of Virginia, acts of petit larceny like the one Ryan committed are deemed punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanour. As of now, Rollins hasn’t entered a plea, and a court hearing is still scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024. Moreover, Rollins’ attorney or agent has not made any official statements as of now.

Ryan Rollins started out his NBA career after getting drafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. The Atlanta Hawks drafted Ryan in the second round as the 44th overall pick. However, he later got traded to the Golden State Warriors, who then traded him to the Washington Wizards. The young shooting guard joined the Warriors on a three-year contract but played only 12 games with them. The player then joined the Washington Wizards in June or July of 2023 on a blockbuster deal. However, after just recording 10 games with the Wizards, the team waived him off in January 2024.
During his time with the Warriors, he played just 62 minutes and amassed a total of 23 points before going on to play for the G-League. Rollins currently has a guaranteed salary of $1.7 million for the 2023–24 season. Moreover, he is guaranteed to earn around $600,000 for the rest of the 2024–25 season.
