Can Yılmaz Uzun, a Turkish football player who now plays as a midfielder for 1. FC Nürnberg, was born on November 11, 2005 in Regensburg, Germany. The 18-year-old midfielder stands 1.86 m (6 ft 1 in) tall.
A look at Can Uzun’s career so far
In April 2023, Uzun was called up to 1. FC Nürnberg II, where he made four appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern and scored a goal. In May 2023, he made three appearances in the 2. Bundesliga with 1. FC Nürnberg.
In the opening round of the 2023–24 DFB–Pokal, Nürnberg defeated FC Oberneuland, a fifth-tier team, 9–1, thanks in large part to three goals from Uzun.
Uzun has played 17 times in his first full season with Nurnberg, scoring nine goals and dishing out two assists. There’s little doubt that he will be playing for the Franconia club for his final season.
