However, Cam’ron refuted any romantic involvement with the actress, emphasizing that they merely took a photo together.
Despite receiving warnings not to jeopardize anything with Long, Cam’ron expressed surprise at Ma$e’s claim that LeBron James might have played a role in setting them up.
Cam’ron’s Statement
“I’m not with Nia,” Cam’ron clarified, dismissing the notion of a romantic relationship. He humorously addressed the speculation, expressing gratitude if he was unwittingly used in the alleged setup. He emphasized that he met Nia Long, exchanged numbers with her, and debunked any romantic involvement.
The two rappers had a laugh when Cam’ron found out about the rumor of him being set up by Nia Long.
“Oh, n****s used me? If that’s the case, thank you. If it’s any truth to it, thank you. I see a lot of ‘Don’t fumble this.’ Look, I’m not with Nia Long. I met her, she did not give me her number. I actually gave her my number.”
LeBron James has yet to comment on the rumors. The Lakers and Rockets clashed on December 2, with James engaging in a heated exchange with Rockets head coach Ime Udoka.
The confrontation occurred on the sidelines during a game stoppage, where Udoka reportedly insulted James and his team. This led to a verbal altercation, with Udoka challenging James and both receiving technical fouls.
Udoka was subsequently ejected from the game. In his postgame interview, Udoka downplayed the incident, attributing it to a conversation with James that the officials disapproved of.
James echoed this sentiment, stating that their discussion revolved around Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Rockets player Dillon Brooks criticized the officiating, expressing frustration with referees failing to make calls during critical moments.
The next encounter between the Lakers and Rockets is scheduled for January 29, 2024.
