Having fired Spaniard Antonio Habas from his duties on Saturday after he embarked on a run of four winless matches in ISL 2021-22, the decided it had a liking of FC Goa’s Juan Ferrando.

And he’s all set to become the coach of the side after his release clause was triggered after failed talks with Albert Roca, assistant to Roman Koeman at Barcelona earlier in the season. FC Goa’s Akshay Tandon has now gone onto detail what exactly transpired to the side’s coach leaving for ATKMB with him taking to Twitter to hit out at the club for the unsavory manner in which it leaked information to the media even before the release clause was activated.
40 year old Juan was in the final year of his two year contract with Goa. He is believed to have a buyout clause of around Rs.1 crore and is set to become the highest paid coach in the league now.
