He was born on 9 September 1965 in a Marwari industrialist family. His father’s name is Vijaypat Singhania, and his mother’s name is Ashabai Singhania. Gautam did his schooling at St. Mary’s School, Mumbai, and Cathedral and John Connon School. Later, he attended H.R. College in Churchgate, Mumbai.
Gautam Singhania was married, and his ex-wife’s name is Nawaz Modi Singhania. Together, they have two daughters named Niharika and Nisha. However, the couple got divorced in November 2023.
Since childhood, he has experienced vitiligo, or loss of skin pigmentation, which worsened as a side effect of medicine in his early 30s. He is currently 58 years old.
