Who is Moraya Wilson?
Moraya Wilson is a renowned Australian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She has been in the news because she recently became the 2nd runner-up in the recently held Miss Universe beauty pageant event.
She was born on 10 September 2001 in Melbourne, Australia. After completing her schooling, she attended RMIT University in Melbourne for a Bachelor of Business Marketing degree.
Her height is 5 feet 10 inches, or 1.77 meters, and she is currently 22 years old.
Her father, Anton Wilson, ran companies which collapsed owing creditors more than $45million. Her father, Anton Wilson, has been banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) from managing corporations until 2027.
Moraya is the daughter of bankrupt property developers Anton and Melinda Wilson.
Moraya lives in a two-bed apartment in upmarket Armadale in inner-city Melbourne’ with her former AFL rookie boyfriend Sam Alabakis.
Her career
At Caulfield Grammar School, Moraya Wilson began her career as a sports coach, displaying her skills in cross-country running, athletics, and snowsports. She made a big professional move when she joined Vivien’s Model Management in Melbourne in November 2018, entering the world of modeling.
Her incredible accomplishments didn’t end there. She proudly represented Australia in the 72nd Miss Universe pageant held in El Salvador, where she earned the prestigious title of second runner-upโa monument to her composure and grace on the international scene.
In addition to her many honors, Wilson’s rise in the pageant world saw her crowned in the 19th Miss Universe Australia pageant by New South Wales’s Monique Riley. Recently, she became the second runner-up in the Miss Universe 2023 beauty contest.
