The continuous boycott is significantly impacting Israel’s economy. Muslims are refusing to buy Israeli products as a way of sending a message to Israel asking them to stop uprooting and inciting violence against Muslims in Palestine. The ultimate purpose of this worldwide campaign of boycotting Israeli goods and businesses that support Israel is to apply pressure on other countries in an effort to put an end to the Israel-Hamas war.
Products from major corporations including McDonald’s, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, HP, and Puma, as well as brands like Ahava cosmetics, Strauss, Keter, Tivall, Osem, Eden Spring, and SodaStream, are among those on the boycott list because they are seen to promote Israel. Moreover, the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which has been driven by the Palestinians, calls for economic penalties, divestment and sanctions on Israel.
