Officially known as the XIX Pan American Games and also referred to as Santiago 2023, the 2023 Pan American Games is an upcoming international multi-sport event overseen by the Panam Sports Organisation.

It is planned to take place in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023; preliminary competition for some events started on October 18, 2023. The Pan American Games are being held in Chile for the first time, while South America is hosting them for the eighth time.
At the 2023 Pan American Games, 425 events across 39 sports will be contested. Notably, sport climbing, breaking, and skateboarding (a type of roller sport) are making their Pan-Am Games debuts, while bodybuilding was eliminated following its 2019 debut.
