At the beginning of this chapter, we get a glimpse into All Might’s regular upbringing, complete with a fondness for the comic strip Anpanman. Even though he had no recollection of major events, he knew that the decisions he made were crucial. Back in the present, AFO breaks All Might’s Gauntlet and paralyzes him with Stain’s quirk.
Despite All Might’s injury, AFO did not relax his vigilance since he knew that even a wounded hero might be dangerous. Since the U.A. Island is now floating, Gentle Criminal wanted to go help All Might, so AFO shot a blast in its direction to keep him busy. The American Jets also try to step in, promising to save Star and Stripe’s idol, but AFO quickly wipes them out.
Deku, Tsukauchi, and even Admiral Agpar begin to lose faith. While many eyes across the world have been watching the conflict unfold, it’s evident that most people have given up hope and are simply observing. Both Mellisa Shield and Gran Torino watch the incident on their TVs with tears in their eyes.
Bakugo
A distant explosion sounds as Deku’s desperation grows and Tsukauchi begins to pray. From afar, a bloodied but still upright Katsuki Bakugo with his All Might Card arrives. As Deku begins to cry tears of joy, he and the latter exchange glances.
