Aside from Fiji and England, Argentina also secured their quarter-final berth on Sunday, after beating Japan. They will now face against Wales in the quarter-finals, while the other two quarter-finals will feature France vs South Africa and Ireland vs New Zealand.

Rugby World Cup 2023 teams
The tournament started off with a total of 20 qualified teams split across four pools of five each. Each pool of teams will have one team from the five ‘bands’. Band one consist of the four highest-ranked teams including South Africa, New Zealand, England, and Wales. Meanwhile, Band two consists of the next four highest-ranked teams, which include Ireland, Australia, France, and Japan. Band three consists of Scotland, Argentina, Fiji, and Italy. The 12 countries from each of these first three bands automatically qualified for the tournament based on their world ranking.
Meanwhile, the other two bands consist of the countries who entered the tournament via the qualifying rounds, which include. The teams include Samoa, Georgia, Uruguay, Tonga, Namibia, Romania, Chile, and Portugal. With the competition now at the quarter-finals stage, the eight remaining countries are England, Ireland, Wales, France, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina and Fiji.
