Khalid Latif is a convicted Pakistani former professional cricketer who was born in November 4, 1985 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is the son of Muhammad Latif and he is currently 37 years old.

Khalid Latif cricketing career
Khalid Latif made his first-class debut just five days before his 15th birthday. However, he first gained prominence during his Youth Test debut in 2003. Following his performances on the field, he was eventually appointed as the captain of the Pakistan Under-19s for their series against Sri Lanka. The rising talent scored 77 runs during the first match.
He then captained the Pakistan U-19s to a World Cup win in 2004. He scored his maiden first-class century the following season, finishing with almost 400 runs. Khalid Latif made another notable performance scoring close to 600 runs in the 2007-08 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. After this performance, Khalid featured in the Patron’s XI line-up against Zimbabwe. Latif then made his One Day International (ODI) debut at Faisalabad against Zimbabwe in 2008. He later played New Zealand at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 3 November 2009. During that match, Latif scored just 64 runs from 112 balls in a 138 runs win.
Although he was dropped following the ICC World Twenty20 in 2010, he was recalled for the Twenty20 squad tour of Sri Lanka a few years later. Prior to that, he showed great form with the Karachi Dolphins in the domestic one-day tournament. Latif then had one of his most notable moments serving as the captain of the Pakistan Cricket team in the 2010 Asian Games. Although he stated that his goal was to help Pakistan secure the gold medal, he eventually had to settle for a bronze. Pakistan lost out to Afghanistan in the semi finals of the tournament.
