A livid Ronaldo went off at his peers with him lambasting them for their dreary performance before Juan Cuadrado intervening and asking the Portuguese to have a look at his own showing.
Ronaldo: “We have to work harder. What the f**k! We didn’t play at all! Nothing!”
Cuadrado replied: “Don’t worry”
Ronaldo: “We played shit, always!”
Cuadrado: “You must be an example for everyone”
Ronaldo: “I’m included too. We have to tell each other the truth, we played shit. This is a Champions League match, we need to have personality.”
Andrea Pirlo then decided to step in between to try and ease the tension with him heard saying, “That’s enough, let’s go. That’s enough, Cri. That’s enough, Juan.”
While Juventus did eventually manage to win the Champions League 2020-21 clash 3-2 at the Allianz Arena, the club was bundled out on away goals with Ronaldo captured crying after the exit.
