Arun who is also the Commissioner of Police turned up to the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur to personally partake in a cleanliness driver at the arena. He was not only seen overseeing the stands being cleaned but personally got his hands dirty as well, an act whose video has since gone viral on social media platforms.
“Honorable President (Ram Nath Kovind) has given instructions to make Kanpur city cleaner. I am glad that the residents of Kanpur city have made a big start to it with its green park,” Arun said while sharing the video.
Arun had already informed of the drive prior to the start of the test match with a multitude of people turning up to assist him to ensure the Green Park remained spick and span as day two wrapped up on the IND vs NZ series opener. The day saw New Zealand cross the 100 run mark without the loss of a wicket in reply to India’s 345.
