According to the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia draw, Mexican club Club Leรณn will face-off against Asian champion Urawa Reds in the second-round. Meanwhile, Al Ahly will play their second-round match against the victor of Al Ittihad FC vs. Auckland City FC. It is confirmed that both the winners of these second-round matches will qualify for the semi-final stage. Notably, the reigning European champions Manchester City FC and the yet-to-be determined Copa Libertadores winners have already sealed their berth in the semi-final.
On the evening of Monday, September 4, the official tournament symbol was unveiled, which was followed by the draw. The logo, which mixes the colors lavender and gold, embodies the distinction of the premier competition for international club football.
