Reports have suggested that LeBron James tracked down the number of Isaiah Stewart in a bid to apologise to him after hitting him in the face
The Los Angeles Lakers vs Detroit Pistons showdown turned into a colossal melee as LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart took off their gloves to spar with each other.
Things kicked off in the third quarter of the matchup which the Lakers ultimately ended up winning. However, things didn’t always swing in their favour with the side trailing Detroit 78-66 with 9:18 left on the clock.

It was then that LeBron James decided he literally wanted to take things into his own hands as he ended up swinging at Isaiah Thomas. In what was a clear attempt to lash out at Stewart in the midst of an attempted free throw, James hit out at the Pistons big man, catching him flush in the face with his face.
Stewart who was left seething as blood ran down his face confronted James with him ready to take on the Lakers man. While Stewart was eventually held back, it was clear that there was clear angst in him for what James had done as both were ejected in the aftermath of the incident.
LeBron James tried to track down Isaiah Stewart's number after the game to apologize and let him know that the hit was inadvertent, per @ShamsCharania.

It has now come to light that proceeding the Lakers win, LeBron James tried to track down Stewart’s number to inform him that he didn’t mean to hit him. Shams Charania has gone onto report that James tried to get through to Stewart to apologise to him but failed to get his message through to the Pistons player.
James has meanwhile been handed a one game suspension.
