Isaiah Stewart was clearly in no mood to take things lying down with him captured chasing LeBron James into the locker room in new video footage
Isaiah Stewart was in no mood to tolerate any of LeBron James’ brinkmanship.
Where players have rolled down infront of the Lakers man over the years in the NBA, 2021 has been quite different. After Enes Kanter publicly called out James for his affinity towards China and Nike, Pistons player Stewart decided he too wasn’t going to indulge in James’ antics.
Punched in the face by James during the third quarter of the Lakers vs Pistons showdown in the league, Stewart decided he wanted to settle matters on the court. He was captured rushing towards James in a bid to take him on with counterparts needing to step in to refrain Stewart.

The incident took place with 9:18 left on the clock as the Lakers trailed the Pistons 78-66. And as a free throw was being attempted, James went onto swing his arm into Stewart’s face, a blow him left the Pistons player with streams of blood running down his face.

While things eventually cooled off on the court and both James and Stewart were ejected owing to their involvement in the fracas, Stewart clearly wasn’t done. New video footage which has emerged of the game shows Stewart rushing towards the Lakers man inside the tunnel as he chased him into the locker room to try and get a swipe at him.
Reports have also emerged of James trying to contact Stewart on call proceeding the game to apologise for his cheap shot and inform him it wasn’t a deliberate one.
