YouTube Strips Ad Revenue Of Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball For Making Video On The Peng Shuai Missing Controversy

In an appalling show of strongarm tactics and censorship, YouTube fined Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball for their video on the Peng Shuai missing controversy

Over the years, social media companies and platforms have become notorious of aligning with a left-leaning school of thought and censoring anything which doesn’t align with their whims and fancies.

Facebook and Twitter have both been on a rampant spree, one where they had taken down almost anything which remotely resonates with a right inclined school of thought. While left handles are allowed to spew venom and fake stories on these platforms as they try and disrupt politics in countries, anything which doesn’t suit the outlets is erased forever and banned.

YouTube decided to do the same with Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball after they made and posted a video on the platform relating to the disappearance of Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai. Peng who went missing from the face of the Earth after claiming that ex-Vice-President, Zhang Gaoli had sexually assaulted her on Weibo only resurfaced a couple of days earlier in Beijing after a global outcry.

YouTube decided to bend over and do what the CCP pleases with it sending notices to both Saagar and Ball informing them that their ad revenue was being curtailed owing to the videos they had made. The move was a horrid set of development, one which further alluded towards how there is nothing like free speech on the big platforms.

While Peng appeared at a China Open sponsored event in the Chinese capital after ever increasing pressure from the international stage, WTA continues to have concerns over the player and her safety.
