Kobe Bryant Hall Of Fame: Take a look at the heartwarming gesture by Kobe’s eldest daughter, Natalia Bryant before the Naismith Hall of Fame Ceremony
When Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash with 7 others last year, not only the NBA, but the sporting world went into disarray. They lost one of the most kind-hearted and lovable players to ever dawn their legacy in the NBA Players.
But the NBA decided to honor the ‘Black Mamba’, Kobe Bryant by inducting him into the 2020 Naismith Hall of Fame amongst other legends like Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. However in Kobe’s absence, his eldest daughter Natalia Bryant decided to honor her beloved father in the most heart warming way which left the crowd to chant, “Kobe, Kobe, Kobe!”

The 18-year-old Natalie Bryant attended the Tip-Off Celebration and Award Gala, which is a preliminary event, with her mother Vanessa Bryant. While other players wore the orange Hall of Fame jacket and ring themselves, Natalia went ahead to do the same for her late father.

Although a picture which captured the same spoken about incident saw Vanessa smiling towards Natalia who wore the Hall of Fame jacket, but the latter smile spoke a million words for her emotions. The beaming smile on Natalia’s face did exhibit sorrow or remorse stemming from the untimely death of her father and sister, but instead was a smile of proud reverence.
Kobe Bryant’s inclusion and induction into the Hall of Fame denotes that he had achieved throughout his decorated career with the Lakers. One’s only only regret is that Kobe could not receive it himself.
Having said that, Vanessa and Natalia Bryant did a tremendous job doing so in his stead, however. It’s only fitting that it’s Bryant’s wife and daughter who accepted the honor on his behalf. After all, he did this all for this family.
