Apoorva Mukhija’s response to the recent controversy
Apoorva Mukhija disclosed that the constant teasing ruined her experience as she had come to the event eager to engage with students. She confronted one of the hecklers during the Q&A session, asking him why he had been yelling at her.
His answer was a post she posted about a YouTuber named Raghav Anand who had once roasted her which caused him trouble. When the heckler and his gang tried to enter the stage but were prevented by security, the scene became more heated.
She wrote that when she and her friends reached the stage in Delhi Technological University, some boys started shouting her ex-boyfriend’s name and initially, she ignored it, but when they kept doing it, she replied back and said, “Main bhi Delhi se hun, tu bahar mil gaya.”
He said, “During the Q&A round, I asked him to repeat why he was shouting at me. He asked me why I posted on the YouTuber who had roasted me in his video. Then he tried to climb on the stage with 6-7 boys. The bouncer stopped them, but this incident completely spoiled my mood.”
Fans came together in support of her after her remark. Many commended her for advocating for herself, claiming that it was important to take a firm stand at such a time. One fan expressed her disappointment that neither her own friends nor the event organizers intervened.
