2023 Japan Open schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
During the Japan Open 2023, which runs from July 25 to July 30, in Tokyo, Indian star PV Sindhu will attempt to get back into shape while doubles duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty will want to keep up their winning ways. Notably, Satwik & Chirag are the reigning Asian champions and have an impressive ten match winning streak. In the 2023 BWF World Tour, the men’s doubles pair have bagged three titles till now including last week’s Korea Open and will be eager to gain more success.
Elsewhere, PV Sindhu will hope to regain her form by winning against Chinese shuttler Zhang Yiman with guidance from her new coach Muhammad Hafiz Hashim. In addition, each unsuccessful singles finalist will get $28,900 in compensation for their efforts. Elsewhere, the losers of this tournament’s first round will earn $850 in prizes.
