He is expected to appear before a special PMLA court on Wednesday, where the ED will request an extension of his remand. The ED’s inquiry focuses on allegations of money laundering against Supertech, its directors, and promoters.
Many First Information Reports (FIRs) were filed in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh accusing RK Arora and Supertech of dishonest business activities. The organization reportedly took deposits from house purchasers for reserved flats but failed to deliver the promised units within the specified time limit.
Moreover, it was alleged that they obtained project-specific term loans from banks and financial organizations for development while also collecting money from homeowners. It is claimed that this money was plundered and redirected in order to buy land in the names of other group firms.
Thereafter, these assets were used as security to get more financing from banks and other financial organizations. Consequently, the real estate firm defaulted on its payments, resulting in approximately Rs 1,500 crore of loans turning into non-performing assets (NPAs).

His full name is Ramesh Kumar Arora. He was born in 1957 in Uttar Pradesh. While his exact birthplace is not known, he is currently living in Noida with his family.
RK Arora’s educational history is not known. However, according to reports, he graduated. He is married to Sangita Arora and has one son named Mohit Arora. His family is Punjabi.

Real estate mogul RK Arora has operations in Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other states in northern India. He is Supertech Limited’s owner. In Noida’s Sector 93A, he built twin buildings that held two residential complexes.
