On August 3, the Indian men’s hockey team will play China in the opening match of the Asian Champions Trophy. The last match of the opening day of the event, which is scheduled to take place from August 3 to August 12, will feature the hosts, India, and China at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium.
India will play Japan on August 4 after their match with China. According to the schedule released by the Asian Hockey Federation on Tuesday, they will then play Malaysia on August 6 and then Korea a day later on 7. On August 9, India will play its final league stage game against Pakistan.
South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan, China, and India are the six teams competing. All clubs will participate in the same pool of competition, and a league system will determine the ranks on the points table.
