Al-Nassr has high hopes of acquiring Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech in an ยฃ8 million deal. After personally agreeing to a hefty three-year contract, the 30-year-old became the most recent well-known player to transfer to Saudi Arabia.

He will earn a reported ยฃ10m-a-season which would double his current wage at Stamford Bridge after the 30-year-old has agreed personal terms on a lucrative three-year contract to become the latest high-profile player to move to Saudi Arabia. Ziyech is a Muslim by religion.
Ziyech joined Chelsea for ยฃ33.6million in 2020 and was part of the squad that won on the Champions League.
Ziyech’s intended transfer to Paris Saint-Germain fell through at the last minute on deadline day in January, which contributed to his mounting dissatisfaction at Stamford Bridge. He only made 24 starts for Chelsea this season, and the majority of them were as substitutes.
Ziyech joined Chelsea in 2020 for ยฃ33.6 million, and in 2021 he was a part of the squad that won the Champions League. His replacement, Noni Madueke, who Chelsea acquired in January in a ยฃ53 million move from RB Leipzig, is already said to be in his replacement.
The Blues intend to part ways with a number of first-team players as part of a massive summer restructure in order to pare down their overly large squad. According to Fabrizio Romano, Ziyech and Mendy will soon join Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli, respectively. Several Chelsea players have connections to teams in both Europe and Asia.
This summer, a number of Chelsea players may move to Saudi Arabia, including Ziyech. While N’Golo Kante has decided to sign with Al-Ittihad, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly may also transfer to the Kingdom as part of its effort to entice elite players from Europe.
After going from Ajax to Stamford Bridge, Ziyech had trouble adjusting to life in the Premier League and it looked as though he would be joining Paris-Saint-Germain in January. He spent the majority of the remainder of the season on the bench as a result of the transfer not going through on deadline day due to a Chelsea administrative oversight.
The Saudi Pro League is also interested in Romelu Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Marc Cucurella, although they would rather remain in Europe.

Hakim Ziyech is moving to the Saudi Pro League after this week’s personal agreement with Al Nassr over a three-year deal and the current agreement between Chelsea and the team over the move.
Fabrizio Romano’s report omits the portion of a transfer charge. Ziyech would presumably make up one of the bigger chunks of the entire pie; according to earlier reports, Chelsea were expected to gain “upwards of ยฃ50m” from all (four) of our agreements with PIF-backed SPL teams.
