South Korean striker Hwang Hee-Chan has lately been making headlines as he impresses the world with his style of play. His form has been so excellent lately that Wolves’ manager Bruno Lage has been rumoured to be pushing the club’s top officials to straight away purchase the 25-year old.

He somehow managed to earn a name for himself despite his season being interrupted by Covid-induced illness.

Before Leipzig, Hwang played for Salzburg where he had scored 16 goals and picked up 22 assists during the 2019-20 season. His performance at that time had attracted Wolves to an extent that they tried to sign Hwang at the end of that season, but talks eventually failed. That season in the Champions League, the 25-year old had scored 3 goals in 6 appearances with Salzburg, including an assist against a very strong Liverpool side on October 2nd, 2019.

His weekly salary at Wolves is around 113 million won. If you convert into his annual salary, it amounts to be that of 55 billion won. His current market value is over 10 million Euros.

His rating in FIFA 22 is 75. Being one of the cheaper priced strikers in FPL 2021/22 and given his ascertained minutes out in the middle, he makes for an intriguing choice alongside counterpart Raul Jimenez.
