Kevin Durant was given his marching orders after he threw an elbow at Kelly Olynyk during Pistons vs Nets
Controversy is refusing to leave Brooklyn Nets’ side at the moment.
Just when it looked like the brouhaha over Kyrie Irving refusing to get vaccinated had died down, the club once again finds itself embroiled in a quagmire owing to Kevin Durant. The incident took place in the Pistons vs Nets game during which KD was thrown out of the fixture owing to his foul on Kelly Olynyk.
Pistons vs Nets: Kevin Durant Throws Elbow At Kelly Olynyk Before Throwing Him To The Ground
Durant who was trying to contest a three pointer during a defensive play found himself guarding Kelly. However, in a bid to ensure Kelly didn’t get his hands on the ball, Durant ended up throwing a calamitous elbow into Kelly’s face, the full brunt of which was felt by Kelly.
It was something KD clearly knew he was doing, a misconduct which saw Kelly go to the ground as Durant shoved him after elbowing him. Kelly was fortuitous enough to avoid an injury, a foul which saw Durant being ejected from the affair.

This wasn’t the first time either that Durant has lost his marbles during a contest this season. During his bygone clash against Indiana Pacers, Durant went onto throw the ball into the stands for which he got a technical foul and could end up being fined as well.
Durant was berated on social media platforms by ardent viewers of the premier league as well with many calling out the Nets player for his bit of play, besmirching him for what was clearly a move to try and leave Kelly injured.
