Yusei Matsui wrote and illustrated the Japanese historical manga series The Elusive Samurai with the chapter 112 release date out
Since January 2021, it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump, with chapters collected in 11 tankōbon volumes as of June 2023. Clover Works has announced an anime television series adaptation.

The manga is licensed for English release in North America by Viz Media, which also publishes the chapters digitally on its Shonen Jump website as they are released in Japan. Viz Media announced in October 2021 that it would begin publishing volumes in the second quarter of 2022. The story of the series follows during the Kenmu Restoration between the Kamakura and Muromachi periods, the story follows Hojo Tokiyuki, a boy on the run after his family is overthrown by Ashikaga Takauji. With only a shady priest and his followers as allies, the young lord must seek vengeance and reclaim his glory, using his only weapon: a superhuman ability to flee and hide.
