Squid Game Creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk Mocks Space Jam 2 After LeBron James Says He Hated The Show’s Ending

The creator of the popular Korean show Squid Game, Hwang Dong-Hyuk was far from pleased with the comments made by LeBron James

A couple of weeks back, LeBron James had taken to publicly discussing Squid Game with Anthony Davis during a press conference. And while the Lakers man had lauded the quality and content of the Korean show, he had also emoted towards how he was despondent with the ending of the show.

LeBron James’ Comments On Squid Game Leave Creator Hwang Miffed

LeBron James had talked about how he wanted to see things culminate in a different manner. However, James’ comments haven’t gone down too well with the creator of the show, Hwang Dong-Hyuk who was recently asked about if he knew what the Lakers man had to say about his show which has set the global stage alight this year.

The director was not only far from pleased with James’ comments but also went onto take a swipe at the player’s recent Space Jam 2 movie.

“Have you seen Space Jam 2? LeBron James is cool and can say what he wants. I respect that. I’m very thankful he watched the whole series. But I wouldn’t change my ending. That’s my ending. If he has his own ending that would satisfy him, maybe he could make his own sequel. I’ll check it out and maybe send him a message saying, ‘I liked your whole show, except the ending,” Hwang went onto say.

He also spoke about how he was contemplating the show’s sequel. While he said he was keen to work on a part two, he was currently more focused on producing a move, one he was in talks with Netflix over.
