The trailer only gave a release window in January of 2024 and not a specific date. Studio Trigger, who animated Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Kill la Kill, was also announced as the studio responsible for the series’ animation. Since February 2014, Kui’s original manga series has run in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine, accumulating 12 volumes and 94 chapters.
Kadokawa’s decision to promote a television anime adaptation of Delicious in Dungeon suggests that this is the case with Kui’s series. While this new trailer is just a teaser, a lot of details about the adaptation have been revealed alongside it, such as when it will be published, who will play the lead roles, who will be on the production team, and more.
Trigger has Yoshihiro Miyajima directing and Kimiko Ueno supervising the scripts for the series. The series will include character designs by Naoki Takeda and music by Yasunori Mitsuda. Along with the news came the creation of an official English Twitter account and the accompanying hashtag, #deliciousindungeon.

Know more about Delicious in Dungeon
Laios, Chilchuck, Marcille, and Falin (Laios’s sister) are the main characters. Falin and two other party members are investigating a dungeon when Falin is devoured by a dragon and uses her magic to send the others outdoors. Since they owe her so much, the group begins plotting their return to the dragon’s lair in order to free Falin.
However, it seemed impossible, as most of their resources remain locked away in the prison. Then, Laios advises that they use the creatures they catch to prepare and consume using recipes from a cookbook they found in the dungeon. The foursome sets out to find Falin after returning to the dungeon and meets Senshi, a dwarf with a decade of expertise in cooking and eating beasts.
