The aunt of Kaitlyn Pollock asked the GoFundMe page to raise money for the funeral of her 20-year-old niece who had her whole life ahead after Kaitlyn Pollock died in an accident
Kaitlyn Pollock was killed in an accident when a pickup truck hit the e-scooter on which Kaitlyn was riding. This happened on Wednesday afternoon around 1:45 p.m., on Harmony Rd. which is located near Taunton Rd. E. in Oshawa.

“Basically we don’t know about what will be covered by what so we should just ensure that both my brother and sister-in-law don’t have to financial stress at this time,” Pollock’s aunt and the GoFundMe organizer Melissa Emma said.
Kaitlyn Pollock, who was 20 years old died in an accident. She had her whole life ahead of her when she left the world. She was looking forward to beginning a career.
Late Friday afternoon, the GoFundMe page had risen over $5,655 of the $7,000 goal.
“Kaitlyn has been taken from her family and friends way too soon, she left behind her mom and dad Rick and Kim, and her younger brother, Blake,’ the GoFundMe page revealed.
The page also revealed that Kaitlyn was a caring, loving, and beautiful person. Her family is in shock and saddened after her passing as this loss is irreplaceable. Unfortunately, they were not financially prepared as this was unexpected for them.
There’s also a second GoFundMe page, which has been arranged by Luchka Float Service where Kaitlyn Pollock’s father Rick is a long-time truck driver, they have raised over $16,263 after setting a goal of $10,000.
The Police of Durham mentioned that a black 2018 GMC Sierra was exiting a gas station which is situated in the southeast corner of the intersection when it struck Kaitlyn Pollock’s e-scooter on the sidewalk.
The driver of the GMC truck pickup didn’t get injured and he remained at the crime spot. Police authorities confirmed that the girl was not wearing a helmet when she was hit by the truck. Wearing a helmet is not required but those 18 and older are encouraged to wear it.
