Suryansh Shedge will take the position of injured Lucknow Super Giants player Jaydev Unadkat and here is all you need to know about him, his age and biography

On Thursday, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) selected youth Mumbai all-rounder Suryansh Shedge to take the place of injured seamer Jaydev Unadkat.

Unadkat had been ruled out of the IPL due to a left shoulder injury sustained during a training session.

In place of Unadkat, Suryansh Shedge will play for the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, according to a statement from the LSG.

The franchise acquired Shedge for Rs 20 lakh.

Who is Suryansh Shedge?

Suryansh Shedge, a 20-year-old cricketer, was a member of Mumbai’s 17-person Ranji team the previous year. He was born on January 29, 2003 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

He displayed his skills in the U-25 State A Trophy by amassing 12 wickets and 184 runs in eight games.

Shedge originally gained attention when he recorded the quickest triple century at the Giles Shield Tournament seven years ago.

Despite being known for his aggression and excellent wristwork, he hasn’t played any domestic cricket. Suryansh is a great fielder in addition to contributing with the ball.

Suryansh’s parents are Prashant Shedge and Priyadarshini Shedge.
